Career Development, Assessment, & Resume Writing
Career development and career counseling services are designed for individuals who are searching for or changing
careers.
Custom and standard programs are available.
Career development involves helping individuals in a variety of ways as it relates to their jobs, careers, and the
world of work. For example:
- Working with people who are changing careers or who want to move ahead in their current career. This also
includes helping those preparing to shift into retirement, or those who have been laid off.
- Working with people who aren’t certain about what they want to do by discovering their skills, abilities,
interests, and personality style. This includes completing paper-and-pencil and online assessment
instruments.
- Working with individuals to create professional resumes, cover letters, follow-up and thank you letters, and
to sharpen interviewing skills.
- Providing resources to support effective job search and research strategies, including networking.
